NEW YORK - After an extensive analysis of artwork published in the new Sherlock Holmes book, the jury selected Mateo Kos, a young artist from Slovenia, as the best artist of the new recently released Sherlock Holmes book.
Each artwork in the book hides an own story and the jury speaker explained that the decision was not an easy one; they negotiated for a long time. The competition was fierce, but at the end everyone agreed to Mateo's artwork.
The council of Art institute of NYC decided the reward in a sum of $500,000.00 which will be handed over once the situation allow travels so the board can host the artist in their NYC offices.
